If you’re traveling to or arriving from Cairo or Giza, you have two main options:
Bus: You can book a bus ticket on the Blue Bus website, with prices ranging from 350 to 600 Egyptian pounds (approximately $11 to $19). The buses are comfortable and have different schedules each day, but the journey takes around 9 hours. This option is ideal for travelers who want to save on the cost of a hotel night by sleeping on the bus.
Flight: While slightly more expensive, internal flights in Egypt are usually quite affordable, even when booked last minute. A flight from Cairo to Sharm El Sheikh takes about 1 hour.
Sharm El Sheikh from and to Luxor
The easiest and most convenient option we opted for was flying from Luxor to Sharm El Sheikh. The flights are often quite affordable—ours was around $30 one-way.
While there are other transportation options available, they can involve a complex web of connections and can be quite time-consuming. For the price and simplicity, flying is definitely the way to go!

While less modern than Meraki Resort, it provides a unique and elegant experience. Enjoy the sauna for relaxation. Room rates start at $250 for a classic double room.
Cleopatra Luxury Resort Sharm – Adults Only 16 years plus
Cleopatra Luxury Resort Sharm is just a few kilometers from the airport. It offers an all-inclusive formula, with room rates starting at $175 per night. For $296, you can enjoy a swim-up room with a private pool right outside your door.
This all-inclusive resort has everything you need, including a nightclub and a variety of food options at the buffet. Enjoy unlimited drinks by the pool. It’s the perfect holiday getaway. Plus, it’s an adults-only resort (16+), perfect for a fun and relaxing holiday.

Generally $100 to $200 per night.
Amphoras Blu
Amphoras Blu offers an excellent all-inclusive experience at a very affordable price, starting at $100 per night. This rate includes food and drinks, with a diverse buffet that features different themes each day. Enjoy various bars by the pool and beach, plus a range of snack options.
Some activities are included, and there’s a great spot for snorkeling right by the resort. While the beach has some rocks and isn’t ideal for leisurely swims, it’s perfect for snorkeling and even diving lessons.
Rooms are clean and comfortable, housed in small, two-floor buildings. If you can, book a sea-view room—the price difference is minimal and definitely worth it!
