I’m Sophie Blanchet, a 32-year-old travel addict hailing from the beautiful province of Quebec, Canada. For as long as I can remember, the road has been my home, and the world my classroom. I’ve explored over 35 countries (and counting), with a never-ending list of destinations still calling my name.
My Travel Philosophy
I believe that travel is more than just seeing new places; it’s about immersing yourself in different cultures, learning from every experience, and growing as a person. Embracing a nomadic lifestyle on a budget is a key part of my approach—it’s all about making the most of every adventure without breaking the bank.
Traveling frugally opens up more opportunities to explore and enjoy unique experiences, proving that you don’t need a fortune to live out your travel dreams. My mission is to inspire others to step out of their comfort zones and discover the world, regardless of their budget.
Travel Highlights
From swimming with 200 nurse sharks in the crystal-clear waters of the Maldives to sleeping under a starlit sky in the magical white desert of Egypt, my travels have been full of unforgettable moments. One of my favorite experiences was swimming among these majestic creatures, while another was the surreal experience of resting in the tranquil, otherworldly landscapes of the White Desert.
