Day 21 – Back to Cairo: Your Transportation Options
You have two main options for returning to Cairo:
Flight: Although slightly more expensive, internal flights in Egypt are often affordable, even last minute. A flight from Sharm El Sheikh to Cairo takes about 1 hour. From Cairo, you can continue your journey by taking a private transfer or public bus to Dahab. Bus: Book a ticket on the Blue Bus website, with prices ranging from 350 to 600 Egyptian pounds (approximately $11 to $19). Buses are comfortable, with varying schedules, and the journey takes around 9 hours. This option is ideal if you want to save on a hotel night by traveling overnight.

Day 1 to 4 – Cairo and Giza

Hurghada is the perfect spot for some well-deserved relaxation before heading home. Known for its beautiful beaches, crystal-clear waters, and excellent diving and snorkeling spots, it’s a great place to unwind after a busy itinerary.
Spend your days lounging on the beach, exploring coral reefs, or even taking a boat tour. For those looking for some adventure, there’s kitesurfing and desert excursions available. Hurghada also offers vibrant nightlife, with plenty of bars and restaurants along the marina.

Day 22 – Back to Cairo
To get back to Cairo from Hurghada, you have a few options:
Flight: The quickest and most convenient option is to take a domestic flight from Hurghada to Cairo. Flights typically take about 1 hour. Plus, prices can be affordable, especially if booked in advance or during promotions.
Bus: You can take a bus, which is a more budget-friendly option. Moreover, the journey takes around 6 to 7 hours and buses are generally comfortable with various schedules throughout the day. The cost ranges from 150 to 300 Egyptian pounds (approximately $5 to $10). Blue Bus is a popular company with reliable services.
Train: While Hurghada doesn’t have a direct train service, you can take a bus to Luxor or Aswan and catch a train to Cairo from there. This option is longer and involves a bit of planning, so it’s probably not your best option for your Egypt 3 week itinerary.
